Top 3 - Regional Qualifer for the 2018 NOC
retired
as of 3/27/17 (except for a show here and there)
----
In 2018,
after being retired for nearly a year, Chace came out for a few select
shows. He was in the Top 3 of the Regional Qualifer for the National
Obedience Championship (Rose City Shows) in Oregon and then went on to
earn High In Trial at the American Rottweiler Club National in May. At
the end of June, Chace went the Rally Natonal Championship, which we'd
never done, and earned third place in the Advanced Class. During the
two days which followed, Chace competed in the National Obedience
Championship and was the #1 Rottweiler and #2 of the Working Group
(missing #1 by 3 pts, which likely resulted from distraction watching a
friend who he serves as a service dog who didn't know better than to be
by the ring). Also, as his owner, I failed to re-condition him and prep
adequately because I had too much else going on, but Chace still did a
good job, regardless.
In 2017,
Chace earned the Obedience Grand Master title and tied his dad for OTCH
points with 233. He also was invited to compete and competed in the
Westminster Kennel Club's Masters Obedience Championship.
In 2016, Chace placed in the Top 3 of the 3 day Palm Springs Regional Qualifer for the National Obedience Championship;
Less
than two weeks later, he
placed in the Top 2 of the Rose City Classic, the Regional Qualifer for the National Obedience
Championship held in Oregon.
Chace
earned the Obedience Master
Level 5, 6, 7 and 8 titles, as well as the Utility Dog Excellent 2, 3
and 4 titles.
In
February, he was a Top 10 Finalist at the Westminster Kennel Club
Master's Obedience Championship. He had to be in the Top 150 of all
dogs ranked by OTCH points to receive an invitation to compete.
In March, Chace earned first place in the Working Group at the AKC National Obedience Championship.
In May, he attended the American Rottweiler National; he was HIT one of the days, but not the Armetale Day.
He went
on to earn quite a few HITs and
HCs in limited competition. He surpassed 200 OTCH points.
In 2015, Chace:
- Was in the top 4 of all dogs at the Palm Springs Regional Qualifier for the 2016 National Obedienec Championship;
style="font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif;">-- Earned the Obedience Trial Champion Title;
- Earned the
Obedience Master 4 Title;
- Earned First Place in the Working Group at the 2015 AKC National Obedience Championship;
- Earned First Place in Utility B and Open B, won the runoff for High In Trial, and was Highest Combined Score in Utility B and Open B at the American Rottweiler Club 2015 National (Armetale Day);
Was ranked #1 in
Utility for 2014 by the American Rottweiler Club.
